I think the remaster is fine, having compared it side by side with the OG CD rip, they really don't sound dramatically different at all, but the remaster brings out a few little details here and there which makes it at least as enjoyable /5(K).

6. In subsequent years Emperor would get more complex and ambitious and the production values would increase but this is where it began. Complaints about sound aside, In the Nightside Eclipse is an innovative and influential album by black metal pioneers and well worth getting if for nothing else the emotion this album engenders/5().

8. "Inno a Satana" is Italian for "Hymn to Satan". Both "Cosmic Keys to My Creations & Times" and "I Am the Black Wizards" are re-recorded versions of songs that originally appeared on the Emperor EP. "Beyond the Great Vast Forest" is a re-worked/re-recorded version of the song "My Empire's Doom" from the Wrath of the Tyrant demo with new lyrics.
